Erik Larsen takes over as publisher of Image Comics
I think the Savage Dragon is awesome and all, but I'm taking a wair-and-see approach here.
"...The problem with some of the people who have done numerous books for us in the past, who've come to us and said they'd like to do a line, is that there'll be three books in that line that'll be terrific and then two books in that line that nobody should be publishing. I really don't want to be in a position where I'm forced to take on books that embarrass everybody just in order to keep people happy. It's like, look guys, you've gotta come in here with some common sense and some understanding of what we're trying to do here. What we're trying to do is build a better Image Comics and if you're getting in the way of that, that's not going to work for me."
Good review of Tezuka's Buddha
Shawn Hoke reviews it at Broken Frontier. You should all read this book.
